A training course for potential Rostrum Critics will be held in Hobart during the month of June. Minimum numbers for the course is four.
The course comprises a series of tutorials on subjects as listed below, followed by sample speeches and criticisms of these by course members and an evaluation by tutors of the critiques provided.

This course together with in club practice will prepare the trainee critic for accreditation. An accreditation course will be conducted in November if there are enough participants.
Re-accreditation opportunities will be provided for current club critics during the last part of this course and during the accreditation course.
Three options are offered for the training course
- Over three evenings once a week (first 3 weeks of June) from 7pm to 9.30pm.
- Saturday 10 June 9.30 am to 4pm
- Sunday 11 June 9.30 am to 4 pm
The venue will be decided depending on course numbers and course format.
Club Presidents are requested to advise the Dais Training Officer of club members interested in the course by no later than 5 May 2006. Please return the attached form by fax or email.
