ROSTRUM VOICE OF YOUTH is the premier public speaking competition for secondary school students throughout Australia.

It is a Public Speaking Competition for Secondary Schools in which full-time students present prepared and short notice speeches in order to increase their own self-confidence and share their ideas with others.
Entry Forms are available at your school and they should be sent to the appropriate Regional Co-ordinators.
Speaking tips for students have been sent to all schools; The State Co-ordinator has a copy of videos of past national finals if required .

Please Note
- With the exception of secondary colleges, schools are limited to one representative per section in the regional finals;
- Rostrum members are willing to assist with the preparation of participants and/or with school eliminations;
- A travelling allowance will be paid to out-of-area competitors in the State Final;
- A different set of topics will be used for the State and National Finals.
- The Tasmanian competition has prepared and short-notice sections in the Regional, State (and National) Finals
