The 2012 Bill French Speaking Competition and Northern Region Jo Davis competition is being held in Bendigo.
The date is Saturday the 7th of July 2012 at the Lotus Convention Centre, 45 Mc Ivor Road Bendigo 3350.
We are meeting at 10:15 for a 10:30AM start time.
The competition has two components, one being an Eight minute prepared speech with a topic chosen from the list below and the second, a five minute reading of the speakers own choice.
The topics are:
- Sink or swim
- What I treasure
- The next generation
- A burning ambition
- Own topic
- Who says crime doesn’t pay?
After the Competition, we'll break for lunch. As in the past, we have gone for lunch to the McIvor Restaurant at 54 McIvor Hwy (which is over the road from The Lotus Convention Centre), so for those who wish to join in, you are most welcome to enjoy lunch with us once again.
