The training course Introduction to Chairmanship will be conducted by Fmn Warren Block.  Anyone who is interested learning more about the role of a Chairman is welcome to attend.

Date:             Saturday 4th  August       
Venue:            Ashburton Baptist Church. enter from car-park in Marquis Street    
Time:              9.00 am  til 1.00 pm  

Only Morning tea will be provided as it is a 4 hour course.

Content:    The course is offered to introduce participants to the principles of chairmanship for Rostrum meetings.

Outcomes:        Having completed this course, participants will have:

  • an understanding of the role of chairman in the Rostrum context
  • an understanding of the principles used in chairmanship in Rostrum.
  • experienced various scenarios, appropriate decision making and actions in Rostrum meetings.


This is NOT a PASS/FAIL course
