Great feedback from members who have been motivated by ideas they gained through our 2021 National Networking events. So many interesting ideas shared. Don't miss out - keep your eyes on your emails. (Check that your Zone webmaster has you registered on the national website).

If you have an online training session planned in 2022 let us know if you wish to invite members from other Zones.  Victoria has kickied off with an early discussion session for club training officers (program directors, meeting organisers) on Friday 11th February and followed that with a "Online and Hybrid Meetings" training session. Share some great ideas and make your meetings zing! Log in to the website and check the video of the session if you missed it.

We are heavily focussing on membership for this year. Rod Black, national Secretary, is organising a call out to all our clubs for a membership drive. If you missed Rod's presentation you can see it here. What else? Well....

Queensland conventionAs a Victorian, I looked on from afar at the amazing convention photos that Louise Tattersall from Rostrum Queensland sent me. I struggle to remember the days when this many people shared a room! Congratulations team and thanks for sharing the wonderful images.

Bob Pearce and Paul Wilkins from Rostrum SA have managed a marketing strategy project and a social media review project with two separate groups of postGraduate students from Melbourne during November / December 2021.  The reports make interesting reading. Marketing Rostrum is a focus for 2022. With Rod Black's initiative to build clubs through networking and setting club targets, we hope to build our local profile in each of the areas where we currently operate. The strategy for recognition and partnerships will be discussed in our national marketing workshops. Contact me or This email address is being protected from spambots. As I sat miserably recovering from Covid, I considered the leadership that we have shown in developing online skills for our clubs. Hearing how our clubs have kept communities connected as well as the assistance we haveoffered to others in the community who have moved to online working environments show the value of this great organisation. Online training sessions have networked our members across the country and we look forward to a continuation and expansion of this offering to our members.

onine clubNow a request.

Our marketing team will need a data bank of great photos of members showing their enthusiasm for their meetings, competitions and events. We need clubs and Zones to share their photos so that we can refresh our online presence. Did you realise that the website images are all actual Rostrum members. Where are our great photographers? Let us know if you have quality photos that you can share.

I hope you are looking forward to another great year of Rostrum. I know I am!
