The following policies apply for Rostrum Voice of Youth Competitions. Policies are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they are current and relevant – the policies were most recently reviewed and approved in 2023.

Roles and Responsibilities of Adjudicators

The adjudicator’s primary task is to make judgments about individual speeches and a comparative judgment about all speeches in the competition. The Roles and Responsibilities of Adjudicators document details the roles and responsibilities of adjudicators.

RVOY Duty of Care Policy

RVOY Duty of Care Policy – An RVOY coordinator/chaperone needs a Working with Children (or equivalent) registration.

RVOY National Code of Conduct

The National Code of Conduct details the conditions of entry for competitors, as well as responsibilities for Zone Coordinators and Rostrum members and volunteers. Reporting arrangements are also addressed.
