Rostrum’s Student Development Program for Secondary School Students
At every stage of the competition contestants are required to present a
Prepared speech
- *6 minutes – JUNIORS (aged 11 years or over as at 1/1/24 and in years 7, 8 or 9)
- **8 minutes – SENIORS (under 18 years of age as at 1/1/24 and in years 10, 11 or 12)
Short notice speech – 3 minutes – (Juniors & Seniors, preparation time of 15 minutes)

Additional Information
REGISTRATION will be ONLINE and will open in early 2024.
Entry fee of $25 per student is payable via direct credit. Invoices will be issued to schools after entries close on 26 March 2024
Cash prizes are awarded to Heat, Semi-Final, SA/NT Zone Final and National Final winners
Some travel costs to Adelaide for NT and country entrants to compete in the heats, semi-finals & SA/NT Zone Final will be subsidised
SA/NT Zone Junior & Senior winners will have accommodation & travel expenses paid to attend the National Final
