Collingwood Rostrum Club 6
Rostrum Club 6 is part of the wider Rostrum movement, a national organisation dedicated to helping people master the art of speaking in public.
Club 6 meets every Wednesday evening at 6.15pm at the Royal Derby Hotel, Corner Brunswick Street and Alexandra Parade, Fitzroy, where members can enjoy a drink and a meal during meetings.
Rostrum offers members the opportunity to learn a wide range of effective communication skills, including correct meeting procedures, and to practise these skills at regular intervals and with expert guidance.
Visitors are welcome. You can attend at no cost for your first few visits.
Club 6 is open to anyone who wants to improve their ability to speak in public. Members range in age from their teens to their eighties and come from all walks of life.The skills gained from Rostrum will reach into every aspect of your life, everything from being able to MC at a wedding to having control at a public meeting.
