Why not expand your horizons and boost your confidence? Rostrum Public Speaking Clubs in the ACT can give you the support and guidance you need to express yourself in front of an audience.

Whether you want to speak at a wedding, get the message across at work or just improve your confidence, practice with a friendly group at Rostrum is an easy and inexpensive way to achieve your goals. By practising the art of speaking before an audience at a meeting every week or fortnight, our members have found that they rapidly become comfortable presenting speeches.

You, too can develop the communication skills necessary to put your point across in a manner that is clear and easy for the listening audience. Rostrum can also assist you in running effective meetings, and teach you how to avoid “Death by Powerpoint”.

If you live in in Canberra or nearby, you’ll find a Rostrum club within easy reach. You can choose to attend at lunchtime or after hours. Many clubs offer the opportunity to participate remotely, via ZOOM, if this interests you please contact the club for further details.

Find the location of a public speaking club near you in Canberra and contact the membership officer to visit the club or for more information.

ACT Clubs run an annual Primary School Public Speaking competition with participants from most schools in Canberra and surrounding areas.
